When I master tracks I aim for around -14 LUFS because I had been seeing information about mastering for streaming services etc, that will cyhange the audio to fit the standard. However since your comment I thought about researching again into why producers should aim for that target and have since dicovered that this information is incorrect and being spread around by many online mixing teachers. I have since found that I should just let my tracks be as loud as -.1 db and it's fine because they services etc will normalize it differently and will only minimaly impact the track as a result.
Overall your one comment has made me re-evaluate my mastering volumes and I'm going to go back to adjusting the master volume to how I used to do it originally. Thank you so much.
